Exemptions on Sales Tax for Admission Tickets
If your organization has an exemption certificate for the state where your venue is located, you may upload it in your 'My Account' profile. When your event is published, a third party integration will assess if the exemption applies to the sales tax on admission tickets in the relative jurisdiction. If you have a certificate uploaded and sales tax is populating on transactions, yet you have identified where an exemption is explicit to your use case, please send the appropriate documentation listed below along with the regulatory URL identifying the applicable tax code to support@eventgroove.com. Be sure to include your Event ID so that Eventgroove Support can determine if a manual exemption is allowable.
